Cant it be solved ? LinuxCNC slows down even dead
the big big problems,
the LinuxCNC slows down at corners and arc.
can't it be solved?
it irritate much, that some mintues work takes hours to complete
Which still not give fine finish.
Also the axis vibrate a little when emergency is pressed . about 0.05mm per press!
when i turn off machine, Z axis goes down , sometimes 0.1mm or sometimes 0.2mm
Stuck between , don't know where to go...

there is no way ......?
i don't think so, every problem have a solution.
this arc slow doesn't happens in other controls.

What it means is that you need to read and understand the trajectory planner setup
in the linked page, and then use the proper prefix gcodes to setup the trajectory planner
to suit your job

i think you are saying about G61 and G64 codes....
finishing stops much in corner and arc, that doesn't meet modern age requirement.
stucks in finshing , delays in line reading, stoping at curves.
take much much time, cant get final finish with G64..
codes doesnt help much to have fine corners.

for gcode with lots of small segments
LinuxCNC 2.6.x is not as fast for similar GCode

G64 by itself usually is not very useful, it will go as fast as possible accuracy be damned. (similar to the G64 behavior on older Fanuc machines without G08 P1 Advanced Preview Control )

running on machine 2.4.x
studying 2.7.x , if it helps would shift to new
you mean with 2.7.x , I'll have a smooth arc corner with fast speed and exact sizes?
how can i backup my old configs and import them to new?

Todd Zuercher wrote: When you tried G64 did you use just G64 in your code, or did you us G64 Px (x being a tolerance number defining how precisely the programed path must be followed). Good starting numbers might be 0.005-0.001 for an inch machine 0.1-0.01 for metric.

with P , does it not effect the speed ?
the edges that it makes in curves also demolish job look
if not , i would rather changed drawing to get exact sizes.
otherwise the part is rejected.
sorry but mostly my work is of precise accuracy ....
i can't compromise much at that point.

It would also help if you could share more information about your machine and setup.
