X Axis not moving when running demo program was created by eluder
Hi Guys,
I am a newbie to linux CNC. I have come across an issue that i cant work out. I have all the motors jogging correctly in the setupconfig but when i run the Linux CNC demo program the X axis doesn't move at all but the Y and Z axis move as they should and continue moving until its finished running the program. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks.
Jake

This is normally related to the motor driver enable pins.
Stepconf doesn't do anything with any amp-enable lines, but the real config often will.
So, sometimes, LinuxCNC end up disabling the drives when it thinks it is enabling them. In that case you may need to invert the amp-enable outputs.
