Lathe with Linux CNC was created by modonga
Hi im new in this forum. I am very interested in Linux cnc software. I have a little and short question
This linux can work with two Spindle servo with rigid tapping?
I have a Lathe with live tooling(drive tools)
i want to controll spindle position and tool spindle position
All servoDrivers that i have work with pulse/dir included the spindles driver
Best Regards
Roberto Peña H.

LinuxCNC needs accurate feedback of the spindle position to slave the movement to the spindle.
If you can arrange that then there is still a bit of a problem in that LinuxCNC does not, at the moment, support multiple spindles.
It very nearly supports multiple spindles, I have written a patch that supported them and worked back in January.

This is the readme for a simulated config with the patch: github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/5653f5..._multispindle/README
