How you approach this depends a lot on how you want to program the G-code.
And this rather depends on what your CAM system outputs.

There is some discussion of TCP coordinate systems here, is that what you have in
mind, or do you just want a second rotary axis?

Hi
You need to post a Image of the Mashine setup in Schematic
so we can see how the Axes are mountet to the frame

As speeking XYZ Gantry with 2 Rotarys on Frame table
or A mounted on X Table Moving

BEST for 5Axis is to use 2 items 5Axis mach3Bob so 2 Parport with a 10 USD interface card
or going to use ethernet with the 7i92 Mesa Card as i use
another FAST option is to use the 7i76 that gives you real speed

FIRST of all is to get a good post processor for the setup you got one mashine
or if mashine build Go as the Postprocessor does work
XYZ AC is a very comen one
on larger mashines better to go for a Z AB setup with gantry style

Tcp is the best if you can get a post or write the logic for it

Sir
I use Autodesk inventor HSM so far I have managed to run the machine on simple jobs like surfacing ,cutting a rotor , engraving geometric shapes in cascading with different depths starting from larger to smaller.
inventor does provide 3D CAM

this does not say anything on your mashine setup
or tention to go for

you good 5axis simulation in linuxcnc live DVD so try this with your G-code from iinventor CAm first then you see if it workes out of the Box

That's pretty good advice.
The config is: /sim/axis/vismach/5axis/table-rotary-tilting/
And there are some sample g-code files for those configs:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/tree/master...ary-tilting/examples

And here is a video of that simulated config:
hmong.video/video/jwcuc4s6gfupjgzeeu11is.html
(fast forward to 1:54 to see it moving)

You should be able to test-run the Fusion code in that sim config. (assuming it is TRT based)

When you start LinuxCNC you are presented with a config selector.
Expand the "sample configs" section and navigate to sim/axis/Vismach and have a look at some of the configs in there.
