Hi all,

Installed 2.7 today on my machine, which does not have network access. Booted it up and it's running 2.7.0. What is the recommended method for upgrading it without network access?

Thanks
Luke

There are instructions in the doccumentation. It would probably be simplest to just follow those, but I'm sure there are other ways.

Basically you download the .deb file for the version you want, copy it to your machine PC then install it with the command sudo dpkg -i (file name).

If you waddle over to google and search for “apt offline” Debian has instructions on how to get packages onto a machine with no internet access, including any extra deps.
