I can't install gedit. Can somone help?

I installed the LinuxCNC LiveCD with LinuxCNC 2.6 and Debian Wheezy and was not able to install Gedit after changing the repository to point to archive. I was able to install Geany with sudo apt-get install geany.

I also got Geany installed, after I have gedit installed. No issues there.

I tried removing the / sign, to see if it makes any difference:


Ran the sudo command again. Still ended up with same "Failed to fetch ... " errors in terminal though.
