Does the +5v common from the breakout card go to the +Ena on this driver?
It's the standard Chinese board with the xh connector.
The diagrams I'm finding aren't super clear
Thanks

Pin 14 is typically used for ena.you can select it from stepconfig
But ena signal is not necessary for test run.

So just the pull and step?
The diagrams I have seen send the +5 to all 3 + terminals

You do need the enable on those drives as they come enabled by default. Only if you want to control them from Linuxcnc, then you can connect it.
They will work with just steep/pulse and dir.

I got it working.
I had to put the pull and dir terminal on the negatives. Then the 5v commit to pull+
But it only goes 1 way so it looks like I have to chain the 5v to the dir+ also like the pictures.
Now I have to figure out the scale because it's not making sense.
Also is it ok to mix driver brands? I have geckon 203x for the XYZ and I got this for the rotary as I am only going to half step it. I dont think it likes the paraport reset time I have currently. 500.
The axis readout is not Right
400 steps per rev 60:1 reduction = 24000/360 is 66.666666

Now stretch is acting weird. The menu at the top is gone.
But with the 5v to both pull and dir it works both ways.
Edit, I was able to add the menu back. I must have inadvertently deleted 3

I made some progress.
Switching it 8 x microstep it is moving better. I'm not sure why it doesn't like it on 2x
