HAL Compile with multiple files

I am attempting to use mb2hal, specifically the test version that now supports function code 6: github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/487/files

My issue, there are multiple *.c and *.h files that need to be compiled into the Linux CNC machine, not sure how to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest solution would be to just compile master branch from source or install it from the buildbot as that was committed in 2018. In fact being that long ago, it may predate V2.8 branch so V 2.8 may also include it.
