Grub Rescue Mode

I suspect that my hard drive has failed but i am not sure.  the screen went blank and on reboot I am getting an error.

error: failure reading sector 0x802 from hd0
entering rescue mode
grub rescue>

Anyone have some with this one or any suggestions.  I would be most grateful

I have no experience with this, but this web page seems like it might help.
