rtapi_app: caught signal 11-dumping core, returning from a manual tool change

 
i changed to tool # 99 (3D probe) and as soon as the manual change routine returned, i got this error. it locks up LinuxCNC so all i can do is exit out and restart it.

I am running Debian 12, with the debian 12 supplied RT kernel, and LinuxCNC 2.9 Pre 1 from the debian 12 repo.

i think tool # 99 was calling beyond what i had configured the array "tool_max" to be...

dumb... dumb... idiot!

No worries, that can happen easily enough.
