Deactivating or disabling a specific axis using HAL was created by Bl484
Hello,I would like to inquire about the possibility of deactivating or disabling a specific axis using HAL commands. Specifically, I am attempting to prevent the stepping signal to the X-axis. I have attempted the following command without success.
unlinkp hm2_7i96s.0.stepgen.00.velocity-cmd
How can I deactivate an axis using Hal command?
Thanks

Yes, that would cause a following error...
A cheap trick that will stop motion but not cause an error
would be to set the step time very short:
hm2_7i96s.0.stepgen.00.steplen 10
