Raspbery pi5 pcie adapter to parport card

Pretty sure LinuxCNC does not use Linux drivers for parallel port, it has it's own driver and all it needs is a memory address for it to work, but your results show strange addresses, so try 0 for address in the StepConf wizard, and if that does not work also try
1b80000000
and
0x1b80000000
Do reboot the RPI between tests.

I give up, I've tried to explain, given links, but it appears a waste of time.

It wont work,(the simple explanation since you don't understand\haven't read the links) the RPi SOC doesn't do the memory\port mapping the parallel ports require.

When searching about this a thread I started came up, regarding SPI, mentioned parallel ports don't work with the RPi.

Rather than banging your head against a wall look at the Linuxcnc RIO project. Or get a Mesa 7i90HD, it's really quite cheap if you are based in the USA.
