Questions about "Auto Zero" in QT_Dragon_HD probe tab.

How can I make the "Auto Zero" button default to ON?  ON a few occasions where I have not used my machine for a couple of months, I forget to set Auto Zero to ON, and then go down a rabbit hole trying to figure out why my machine is not cutting at the correct Z height.

What is the use-case when you would want Auto Zero to be OFF?

Thanks
John

I'm using 2.9.4.

When the Z is off, It is usually off by a half inch or so. It all depends on what I was doing the last time I remembered to turn auto zero on.

I pushed a change to 2.9 and master so the button state is recorded in the preference file.
Versa probe is based on the original Vers probe routines, which allowed those options.

Changes pushed to 2.9 won't be accessible unless the devs issue a point release. eg 2.9.5
You would probably be better off upgading to master 2.10 branch so you get changes as they happen.
QT dragon is a pretty new GUI and Chris has been beavering away improving it all the time..... :)

Thanks Rod. I'll look into upgrading to 2.10.
