Notice the error window in the attached screenshot where I'm trying to run a subroutine from an external file.
It looks like a error created when extracting the subroutine name from the .ngc file that contains it, the first character of the subroutine is not any character that I recognize. This code exists in General LinuxCNC Questions as part of pocketing program and
the .png file there was made on linuxcnc12.04 LTS. The window overlapping linuxcnc shows the Debian kernel being used.

Could you point out where these files are in linuxcnc or how you have come across them?

Both linuxcnc and the preempt kernel come from a .iso file which is
linuxcnc_2.9.10-amd64.hybrid.iso
There a .zip file in forum.linuxcnc.org/38-general-linuxcnc-q...ing-program?start=10
which has polygonpocketf.ngc and makeholehere.ngc.
The parts are exceeding the limits set in the linuxcnc .ini file, when I correct this things work as they did on my other system. Sorry for the noise

Maybe it was a limit error, but the message did not help figuring that out at all, was the sub itself that was out of limit? and it caused the error in the picture?
