Calibrating Y and Y2 independently was created by Creative25
I am planning to build a cnc plasma cutter that uses stationary chains and moving Sprockets, for x and y axles.
Since Chanis do not always have the same length I want to be able to calibrate the movement for Y and Y2 separateley.
However on the PnCC config it only asks for data for Y axle.
How will I be able to calibrate the two axles separateley in oder to compensate for differences in chain length?
Can I have separate compensation files for each axle. Y Y2 or is there another way?

Certainly possible by editing the hal/ini files by hand to enter the different scale values

I checked the ini file it looks quite simple to change those settings. Question how many decimal points can I enter in the scale values? Is there info on this forum on a build that is chain driven or Would it be helpful if I start a new thread?

You can enter as many as you want, but after 15 or so they will have no further effect.
In practice anything more than 5 or 6 will have no effect considering the typical range of encoder counts from one end of the axis to the other.
