Hello! I'm new to linuxcnc and mesa cards.I'm trying to tune my cnc mill axis in PNCconfig wizard{Using mesa 7i76e card}. So far I can move my motors{NEMA 23 steppers}. However when I specify a test area of "X"in. IE, -2in the total distance traveled of my machine is way higher, {Around 11.5in}. I'm using DM542T divers with a microstepping of 4 (which I specified in the previous configuration window. I will really appreciate any input on why it isn't moving as it is supposed to as well as any source where I can find relevant information on the topic. I've been reading linuxcnc manual however I can't find any relevant information on the issue.

Also looking and the tuning page, you don't want a
P term of 10000, normally, this is set to 1000 for a
1000 Hz servo thread rate (1 ms period)
