Werkzeugaufruf nach Toolnummer, nicht nach Pocketnummer

Hi,

I think that you need to control the tool changer to use the iocontrol.0.tool-prep-pocket number rather than the tool number.
Then you need to set up the tool table to say which tool is in which pocket.

Okay, thanks, that was easy. I haven't tested it on the machine yet, but it looks good.

In the tool table (gmoccapy), I can assign multiple tools to a pocket.
Can I check in the table that only one tool is assigned to each pocket?

I think you can leave multiple tools in one pocket in the table.
You call the Tool with a T-number in the G-code, then the system checks the tool table for the pocket, and puts that number on the pocket-number.

(This is useful for using two sides of a lathe tool, for example. You would get different tool-point offsets, but the tool0changer would use the same position for both sub-tools)

OK, I haven't seen or done that yet, but I also do a lot directly via CAM.
In my case, it's definitely important that the tool number and the pocket are unique.

I've adapted it for my case, maybe someone else can use it too.In the settings, you can enable or disable the check and set the number of pockets.(Gmoccapy 3.4.9 LinuxCNC 2.9.6)
