Z axis home settings was created by kibo
Hello.
I have a problem with setting the home position on the Z axis.

The sensor for home position is bottom on the z-axis (please, see attachment).
The z-axis has a shift: 134 mm.

The motor is not inverted. In GUI the "+" button moves the Z-axis UP and "-" button DOWN.

In my INI file I set:
Code:
#******************** # Axis Z #******************** [AXIS_2] ... HOME = 54.00 MIN_LIMIT = -80.00 MAX_LIMIT = 54.00 HOME_OFFSET = 54.00 ...

but the setting is probably wrong because I get message that the axis is out of the hard limit.
And I have to turn off the machine and move the z-axis if I touch the limit switch.

Thank you very much.

HOME = 0.0
MIN_LIMIT = -80
MAX_LIMIT = 0
HOME_OFFSET = 2

Most machines are set up with Z0 at the top and all the travel in the negative direction. But that doesn't mean you can't set it up the way you want to. Where you went wrong was having the home and home offset equal to each other. Make the home position a coupleof mm smaller and it should work.
