Can't get Smithy 622 out of e-stop with 2.7

Now to work out how to not require the manual step. Have you got anywhere with that? It really should not be difficult.

I haven't had much time with the mill since determining that would work where I didn't have to get something actually made, but hoping to spend some time in the next couple of weeks trying to nail down how to properly incorporate it. Having surgery next Tuesday, so I'll have a bit of downtime to play with it.

Not sure on the why it works, but I got everything working as intended.

I moved the sets Enable true line to the end of the .hal file instead of directly beneath the newsig line. Entirely on a whim, but it does the trick.

It sounds like somewhere else in the HAL file the signal was being set false.
