Stepper Motors work in stepconf but not in in Linux Cnc

One of the most common problems is that you tried to configure a "drive enable" signal to the drive. Most stepper drives have drive disable inputs rather than enables. Meaning that the drive is normally enabled, and is disabled when a signal is applied. Well Stepcofig does not use any configured enables/disables in the test mode, so when you try to use the drive in Linuxcnc the drive is then disabled. If that is the problem simply inverting your enable signal is the solution.

Another common problem is that you might have had Steoconfig configured to create a simulation config. It is a small checkbox on the first page.
