Tool Table Won't Open v2.8 was created by Project_Hopeless
I setup a "sim" machine running Axis to debug another issue and when I open the G code file I get a "requested tool not found in table" It is simply calling T1. When I use edit or reload tool table nothing happens.

Originally the config folder did not have a table file so I copied one from another sim. Then renamed it to match the *.ini tool table file reference. Still no joy.

Is the a standalone app I can use to create or edit outside of Axis? I don't have a tool changer and never setup one on the real machine and never had this issue. wouldn't T1 be a universal default tool?

open the tool file with a text editor and see what it says

The tool file seems pretty simple.

I've never set one up so honestly I'm not sure what it is supposed to look like.

T0 isn't a valid tool number.

I don't know if that is the problem, but it could be.

I deleted T0 and still get the same alarm line 16..

I don't think it is my g code it runs on the real machine. Here is a sample. It errors at line 15.

There are three INI files there. Two use sim.tbl and one uses gantry_mm.tbl.

Which INI file are you using? And what is your tool table file called?
