Newbie need help, touch plate making.

How would you like to start touching? with an M code? or a button in the pyvcp panel in gui axis?

If you have all the required files already, can you post this files, to check. (the probing will for shure not run, as is), just guessing the names:

If the folder masa/linuxcnc/config/my-machine ,   masa/linuxcnc/nc_files  ,  masa/linuxcnc/subroutines
are there, grab files from this folder.

touchplate.xml
touchplate.ngc
your machine.ini
your machine.hal

According the first post, there is kind of a mess in your config folder, which makes it easy to edit the wrong file.
Just stick to the  masa/linuxcnc   folder.

If this ever works, this setup is for  1 ngc file for each tool

Sorry, seems there was a missunderstanding. I did not ask to move the files, just to be aware what files you use.
I asked, to post the 4 files i mentioned before,  as attachment, to have a look, how to make this setup running. Its impossible to solve, just by advise

Well, your questions are really not so easy as you might. 
I guess your ini call minin-kone.ini
First, you want to try tool touch off with button in pyvcp panel. Useful information if you want that will someone help.
1. Create button and add xml file to Display Section in ini.
"PYVCP = Ztouch.xml"
2. Link the button in custom_postgui.hal file
3. link mdi command in ini File -> HALUI Section and link your touch program path in RS274NGC Section
I use different way and call my touch program 9000.ngc
I didn't get working with filenames like touching.ngc
I correct your config. There were some grammar errors. Give a try and check what happens and what i change.

need i copy - paste this new config folder to my linux old config folder replace all config folder new, ?
have you 9000.ngc code metric or imperial ? 
i use metric because live in north europe Finland. 
 

i copy - paste new config folder to computer and "touch off Z" button come to display, BUT if bush button come error.

edit: i found axis.ngc 1 hour search all linux, this folder but inside code i not understand any, what have wrong ?
geany show line numbers but not have line 0, start line 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.

I do all that and save it in new configuration. Check the new ini and postgui file in zip folder. The only one missing is the path of 9000.ngc in your environment. I marked in ini file. If you start the new config you should get error 9000.ngc not found. In this case fix the path. Try it and we will see what error comes next. Try and error. Sometimes only way to learn. I will try tonight write a more clear example. On the mobile phone not possible.
