Reposition Preview grid.

I believe I have just about everything I need figured out on our double gang grinder CNC lathe conversion as far as operation goes.. The only thing I have yet to figure is altering the position of the where the marker starts on the preview grid. I would really like to have the plot marker in preview to be in the middle of the X on the grid. Tool offset and home offset have had zero change to the position marker's start on the grid.

not sure what you mean by "the position marker's start". A screenshot with an arrow might give us a clearer picture of what you are trying to achieve.

I apologize if I wasn't clear.
In the image you'll see a blue and red arrow I'd like to move them up on preview grid closer to the middle, as you can see the program path takes it right to the limit of the preview grid.

All these elements are drawn to represent your machine limits and offsets:
The blue circle in the lower left corner is the home position.
The red rectangle shows the axis limits in respect to the home position (as set in the ini file).
The XZ coordinate system shows the current work origin (ie in your example you have an active work offset in x )

That's the problem. It realigns the whole grid to wherever the home is set to. I can't find a way to move the grid itself. If I could keep the grid aligned with the physical home and off set the set home by 3-4 inches on the grid I would be happy. I can't seem to find a way to do that.

Are you saying that 'G0 x0z0' moves the tool to the machine home position despite having set a work offset (ie the blue circle instead of the coordinate system) ?

I believe I figured it out. I was looking at it the wrong way. I needed to set the max limit in the ini file and then set the offset to move the home position further into the grid. I'm not sure if this is the correct way of doing, it but it got me the desired result.
