I’ve seen it and almost had a so called doctor puncture my femoral artery by manipulating my femur which had been shattered into many pieces.
It wasn’t till I was on the table the next day that my heart stopped.
But the nurses are worth more than their weight in gold.

I always discourage people from using Arduino early on in their careers because it is my perception that Arduino makes people lazy. You can find a library for just about anything you want to do with their boards. For doing DIY projects and people who are not professional embedded developers but just want to make something work, its okay. If you want to really learn embedded systems look elsewhere.

Arduino was made for rapid prototyping, thats the beautiful of the library’s you can know pretty fast if your idea work, if your design work you need to cut cost searching components for your design.
Even if you make large scale you cant make money using the arduino board in your product.
At begin i did the mistake to put Arduino Mega inside one leak test machine (at time I didn’t know about PLC stuff) the time I spend to make all protection (industry) don’t compensate at all even if i make 100 in china its more cheap buy one PLC.
One example because covid, you can make one elevator panel that dont need touch but use celular to select the floor using Arduino, test it inside the build for signal (touch the elavator panel here in Japan you loose the maintenance contract) if you have all workng in the cellphone part you can show it to some company, here Fujitec implemented this fir their elevators.
Time is money.

Because of arduino the prices of ATMEL AVR chips have inflated a lot. For example an ATMEGA 328p chip used in Arduino Uno(which is the most popular Arduino Board) is way more over priced than the later upgraded versions of the same chip.
Quick search on mouser:
ATMEGA328p: ₹151.84 (~2$)
ATMEGA808 : ₹56.94 (<1$)
ATMEGA808 is better than ATMEGA328 in every way, but we have to pay the 'Arduino tax' for the latter chip.
