Punking has not shown the picture of the terminal when linux is stopping.

If Punking is not able to do that because of speed of starting and closing. Punking has to type in terminal : linuxcnc
Then he will be able to make picture of fault message.

the error I'm experiencing is a graphics issue.
I got linuxcnc working.
But it is with a workaround, that i need help with.

When i boot up the computer, it is running ubuntu 12.4
i have to boot into a previous version kernal like I always did. But,,.... now i have to boot into recovery mode of that kernal and choose tyhe fail-safe graphics mode.

once booted up, linuxcnc works fine. how can I make the graphics work without all of the bootup procedures? and have it work in limited graphics mode automatically?

Sounds like an OpenGL problem. As a test, try running one of the simulations that don't use it, like TKLinuxcnc.

You might have to change your driver for your graphics, or one of it's settings (related to OpenGL).
