Do your instructions for linxcnc on LM19.1 include support for mesa cards (hostmot2) ?
Thanks

if I select the recovery option in grub menu it hangs included a photo of it
I tried to do a fresh install again and same result
what is going wrong here?
the computer got core duo 2 processor and runs 64 mint 19

I'm no expert at PC's but I think a core duo 2 is a bit old for modern OS's using 64 bit.

I don't understand your question, hostmot2 is part of LinuxCNC. The instructions cover installing or building the Rt Preempt kernel, installing or building LinuxCNC and setting up the PC to use Mesa Ethernet cards. PCI and PCIe cards work after installing LinuxCNC.
