Hyperthreading was and still is some sh@t that is being showed down peoples throats since the age of Pentium 4, it did not have any advantage then or now, it just makes things slower each core acting as 2 !
Talot, those numbers look very good, but you still have some excursions that might cause issues.
It would be nice if you could wait for PCW to have a look at those screenshots.

You do not need the base thread, just the servo thread. But having the test run both can interfere with the servo results.
That is why it is much better if you test just the servo thread.

it just means that some of the results exceeded the domain of the plot
You can increase the plot span to avoid this:

latency-histogram --nobase --sbinsize 200

( latency-histogram --help for more info )

you can shut doen the SMI by smictrl
BUT THIS MAY get the Notbook to overheat and melt the CPU

did you try to run the system on only one core
isocpu

Note that as long as you can reliably meet the 1 ms servo thread deadline
with a few 100 usec to spare, there is no advantage to futzing around to get
the minimum latency as it simply does not matter (at least with most hardware interfaces)
