Well you have already established that the issue with the newer machine is you don’t know the BIOS password. This isn’t an issue with Linuxcnc.
The only option maybe to contact the seller or the manufacturer of the machine and try and resolve the issue that way.

a desktop
Finally that will not be my greatest problem: my real problem will be to be able to use the not so easy program!
Does LinuxCNC turn on a Raspberry Pi?

All desktop PC's have a "clear CMOS" jumper on the mainboard, the new ones have a small button for that, just be sure the PC is unplugged before you do so. That will clear all passwords and set the BIOS to factory defaults. Also beware that if you have any type of RAID setup, that will most probably make them non usable. This is only if the PC came with two or more of the SAME drives from factory, so chances are very low.
Machinekit ( a fork of LinuxCNC ) runs on RPI3 while the normal LinuxCNC runs on RPI4 and the ready made image can be downloaded here:

Most do, but not all. I bricked an old Dell once, trying to update the BIOS, that didn't have any fail safe reset.

Finally, there is only one video that is interesting, but it isn't really a tutorial to get started with LinuxCNC.
Therefore my question: does someone know how to find tutorials?

Apparently search engines are quite popular with the younger crowd.
Reading the docs is a good start.
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/html/
Browsing the forum will help.
Running one of the many sims will give you a feel for the UI.
Draw some simple shapes in CAD create gcode via your favourite CAM program and run that.
There is also gcode examples supplied with Linuxcnc.
Running thru Stepconf or Pncconf is not much harder than it is with Mach. Don't forget the docs are included with Linuxcnc.

Thank you very much!
I had forgotten to mention, that I have searched for tutorial videos in German or French, because I have often difficulties understanding acoustically the comment in many American videos if the author doesn't take care of his pronounciation, as f.i. in the 3rd linked video.
