I have the LinuxCNC Buster ISO loaded. I followed a Linux forum on how to enable/disable auto login. I needed to edit some lines in the following file.
Code:
sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
However I get a directory does not exist. So do i create the directory and file from scratch? Our is there another way?

This may help (sorry I did it earlier in the week) via the terminal

That instruction set did not work with the LinuxCNC Buster ISO.

I did eventually find a solution here;

The file to edit was stored in a different directory.
Code:
sudo nano /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/01_debian.conf
