Fatal :destination path 'linuxcnc-dev' already exist and is not an empty directo was created by Zahra
hello sir, I'm having problems with 


git clone git// github.com/linuxcnc/linuxcnc.git linuxcnc-dev, Fatal :destination parth ' linuxcnc-dev' already exists and is not an empty directory.  

what do I have to do?

I am using Raspi 3B

Sounds like you already downloaded the source.

If you don't care about what's in linuxcnc-dev, or it's really
old, you can just delete it and try again:

rm -rf linuxcnc-dev
git clone git// github.com/linuxcnc/linuxcnc.git linuxcnc-dev

I have tried,
fatal : unable to connect to github.com : github.com[0.192.30.255.113]: error= connection timed out.

what should i do next, sir?

Try the instructions from here:

linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/code/building-linuxcnc.html

first step is:

git clone github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc.git linuxcnc-dev

The method Peter shared definitley works in the Pi, I ran it this morning,
I would check you can access other sites on the internet if git timed out.
Sounds like you have a network problem.

It's been resolved, but I got an error during install Linuxcnc-uspace_2.8.4amhf.deb
