For the last few weeks there has been a lot of talk and coordinated maneuvering by world governments
and private companies to compartmentalize sensor/block  web sites. I do worry how long before sites like
Linux, Voron, LinuxCNC, Github, and the like get blocked. ( Won't somebody Please think of the children )
The reason this is relevant is because of how many software providers distribute there software via
downloads from the Web instead of  from physical media. Even Raspberry Pi pretty much encourages
everyone to use the online Pi imager tool.

So my question is, Has anyone made a full image for Voron  2.4 with- Klipper, Mainsail, Moonraker,
KlipperScreen and so on?

I know at least Linux sells physical media for most of the main distros so at least there's that.

A lot of what's been going on wreaks of Prohibition 2.0. It also shows that since big companies can't
seem to offer anything of value anymore so they are pivoting to pay extorsion schemes. Sure you can
buy the physical device but you must pay a monthly fee for it to operate. Or pay even more and they
will add something extra. Oh and it also has to be connected to the internet at all times  to make sure
it is being used properly. You know for Safety and Security reasons.

I know this has been a bit of a rant. That said stock up / Back up as much software as you can. It's
going to get worse out there.

GitHub is gone, totally now since it's CEO resigned a few days back, so now it is fully controlled by MicroShaft!
First thing to download and save is CloneZilla, and use it to make images of Klipper/Mainsail/etc and LinuxCNC AFTER setting up properly everything.
As for Orca Slicer, Super Slicer, etc, and FreeCAD, KdenLive, etc, those always have AppImages for download, so hoard those.

Every day it just gets worse   I guess the new slogan will be " If you can't beat them, ban them."

After 15 years of google drive, and running a Synology NAS, I have moved to on site (at home) for all my emails and web sites. But I started using cloudflare for dns. Should I do that?

I have no bad info on CloadFlare so far, hope they continue.
Just keep in mind that all your traffic goes through them, so they know what your watching... :)

Had a bit of time to go through the forum and noticed we did not give any usable info here, shame on us! :)
Use clonezilla, it is free and works perfectly for saving full images of anything from HDD/SSD/NVME.
So:
-install Linux Mint, any flavour
-use KIAUH to install Klipper and MainSail and everything you need
-set your printer properly and make sure everything is working
-use CloneZilla to save an image of that drive
-
This requires a USB stick with CloneZilla, and another drive to save images to, preferably not FAT/FAT32 formated as FAT32 can only store up to 2GB file size. I use EXT4.
