EL7201-0010

Hi everyone
Recently I got the original Beckhoff EL7201-0010 + AM8121-1F20.Which is the easiest way to start this engine:
- Rewrite Xml file with all registers to fit your needs (ControlWorld, TargetPosition and etc.)
- Use the already created source code in "Linuxcnc-ethercat" with same drive (if there is one)

- Or is there an easier way?

Hi,

there is no ready driver for this card yet, in linuxccnc ethercat.
Consider that you have to read about initcmds, because at the systemstart you have to load the complete config (motordate/Resolver, etc...) to the card.

easiest way, would be to setup the card with twincat and then export the parameters to convert them to an initcmd file for lcec.
