Hi.
I set up my machine and everything worked for me, but there is a small problem: The direction of movement of the X-Axis is not up to standard.
Please tell me how to change the direction of movement of an axis on a machine? How to swap + and - places? The machine is assembled on an ASD-A2 EtherCat. System LinuxCNC 2.9.2.
I tried to configure the change using scale using the following code:
and changing the .ini
but the machine goes crazy and does not work normally.

There should be a SDO setting that tells the drive which direction to travel for positive travel. Consult your docs.

HI
In the .ini file,
SCALE = ..... positive the axis goes in one direction, if you put " - " in the other,
the number corresponds to the mm, or in, which the axis travels in one rotation

For stuff like rotation (CW, CCW) vs Forward/Reverse on the axis I would always go through the servo setup itself using the manufacturers software (here: asda soft). In fact, this is the first thing i always do.

Cyclic synchronous velocity mode only ? are you running external scale encoder or motor encoder on your setup. i am really confused... I thought ASD-A2-E could be running PT modes ? Motor encoder + Glass scale encoder ???

Many thanks for the warning i would have used it if i have seen it before starting my build

... So right now im stucked hard, "mounted glass scales and most of the components , and the finding out that i cant go fully close loop
its a REALLY HARD DAY... may i ask what did you do ? running the system just with the motor encoders ?

Wasn't around here when all this started. lcec_deasda driver has limitations. Ok. Don't use that driver then.
What about using the "generic" driver? Or the basic_cia402. Prefer the "generic" driver)
Is this the drive in question deltronics.ru/images/manual/ASDA_A2-E_UM_EN_20150430.pdf ?
Chapter 5.3 describes CSP mode which you want to use. Looks like a normal cia402 drive to me,
shouldn't be too difficult to get going.
