I have used fusion 360 for lathe code. You can select the post processor for linuxcnc in fusion which will generate the ngc file that you then load into your machine. Is that what your are looking for? You may need to look over the generated file first in a text editor to see if all the m codes jive with your machine setup.

I just save the .ngc file directly from Fusion on to the hard drive of my milling machine over the network then run the file.
That's about all there is to it.

Thanks everyone ! I just started learning CAM setup in Fusion 360 and indeed I did find the linuxcnc post process as you mentioned . Will finish up the toolpaths and create Gcode today . Can't wait for my first cut !
