So I have a successful installation of Axis running and I'm attempting to switch to gmoccapy. I have edited my existing .ini file to change the DISPLAY = axis to DISPLAY = gmoccapy. Now LinuxCNC doesn't come up when launching from my existing launch icon. I have read the gmocappy document but it is hard to determine what is required to get operational and what are advanced setup options. Debug section of the error report shown below. Any suggestions? Do I need to modify my .hal file? Thanks.

Debug file information:

That is the error that prevents linuxcnc from starting. You used a pyvcp panel with axis, but pyvcp panel do not work with gmoccapy.

Just go to your ini and comment the corresponding hal line.

Thanks. I managed to find it in a seperate pyvcp_options.hal file that was called in my .ini.
