Error when KDE desktop with Gmoccapy

I get an error when I start Gmoccapy in KDE Desktop.
Is there a way around this?No problem with xfce
KDE gives good latency results in my environment. Switching to Xfce causes a fatal delay.

So try to install and enable another icon theme.
On my machine Gmoccapy only works with the icon themes GNOME and Tango.

That seems interesting and warrants a bit more investigation, whenever i might have a bit of time.
I use Mate Desktop Environment mostly, but i do use XFCE on low end PC's and laptops, besides being a bit more snappy XFCE never seemed any better for latency.
Hansu has some good advice, some applications just do not run properly on different environments due to appearances and icon themes.

I was able to safely avoid the error by installing gnome-icon-theme.
