Here is startup sequence of the LinuxCNC

Forgot to mention - I have fresh Debian install and applied nativecam with DEB package.

Your ini file is OK
Try this : delete '/home/gyakubov/Desktop/my-mill/ncam'
Then restart lcnc

Also run ncam standalone and show me the terminal screen result.

Can you also check if 'python-lxml v2.3.2' or better and 'truetype-tracer v 4.1-4' or better are installed on your pc

Open Synaptic and search for 'truetype-tracer'. If installed, you will see the version number.
Without 'truetype-tracer', you will not be able to do engraving of TT Fonts.

Is this all ? It should give more details about the problem. I do not know if an icon file is missing or the' Preferences' was not read or what ...

Does NativeCAM run well in stand alone mode ? Or does it print lots of message like this one in the terminal ? You should recognize info from error messages.

What is the version installed ? It shows in 'About' dialog or you can find it in Synaptic searching 'nativecam'. Latest published version is 0.1.14b, update if you have an older version.

Yes, it runs just fine. Generated G-code passed to the LCNC and refreshes.

I think I can live with that... and I probably like it better. Lat's not waste our time. Thanks for you help and great utility.

If you are having this problem, someone else might have it too. So help me solve this by answering ALL my questions.
