Bit File for 7i76e was created by davidimurray
Hi All
Looking to start setting up my 7i76e with pathpilot. Does anyone know what would be the correct bit file to use to get the full I/O i.e mode 2?
Thanks
Dave

Thanks PCW.
Do you know which bit file is the standard firmware? I’ve downloaded the pack from the mesanet site but there are a few different versions for the 7i76 in there.
Thanks
Dave

The standard firmware is pre-loaded in the 7I76E
the bitfile would be 7i76e_7i76x1d.bit
the bitfile would be 7i76e_7i76x1d.bit

Thanks PCW - now to have a go at getting it working with PP.
I take it nobody has found a way to disable the bit file loading?
Cheers
Dave

To avoid bitfile overwriting you need to edit your base or specific .ini file in ~/tmc/configs/tormach_mill and set "BITFILE0=mesa/7i76e_7i76x1D.bit", or whichever 7i76 bitfile you want to use.
