laser configuration

I'm new at using linux and linuxcnc
I'm making a DIY co2 laser cutter and engraver but I can't understand how to install bjj configuration or any other
and I want to know the best free software generates gcode for laser vector and raster

How far have you gotten? Can you let us know a little more about your setup?

laser raster not working and Test fire laser gives me error massage
"EOF in file/******************************** seeking o-word o<146> from line 1825

O<146> would be unusual.

I would expect O146 or O<a_text_string>

But it sounds like a call to a missing subroutine.
