rodw, here is my page, it's the #3 pin and at the bottom is the paragraph telling what it is.
Tommy's right. Its not needed at all. Instead I would use shielded cable connected to one of the centre pins on the THCAD but leave that unconnected at the plasma cutter end.
That will get to 300V positive refferenced to ground or earth, so not healthy at all for the electronics.
On plasma cutter with no divider that will be the + to the THC.
Yours has a divider so that is not used.
