Not too much going on this weekend the grandkids and kids got me sick so i have slept through most of it.

but it does work as intended. hopefully now that i have a physical assembly made it's starting to make sense as a whole a little more.

the more i think about this project the more it feels like a Rube Goldberg machine build :) But that's a good thing it creates innovation :) i think Rod pointed out an uncertainty about a tandem rotary axis but i am on to the why it makes sense thought process now, i think. i might be sick and not feel like doing physical work but my brain is in overdrive it seems.

I bought that same Hynade 80amp cutter in October '23 and have been running it ever since on my homemade linuxcnc/mesa table, no complaints at all.

I did some research on the torch and found the manuals from Tecmo are the source of the torch or are excellent copies.

I purchase torch consumables under their part numbers from ebay seller PlasmaDyn www.ebay.com/str/plasmadynplasmaweldingparts

Looking forward to this build.

i have actually learned quite a bit from this project to be honest. i have some big plans for this build. a conventional table and a rotary cutter have some very different needs, if all you need is to cut round tube then things can be kept fairly simple, but if you cross over into other profiles things can get quite involved. this project is one of those projects that take forever to get finished but once done you have something substantial.

add loaded forces to the mix and i just learned something else this weekend. always something with this project, it seems. 450lbs of force is no joke or 2000N for everyone over on the other side of the pond.
