So just confirmed the ArcOK led on the GUI does not come on when this happens, it pierces the metal and the volatgae reading is around 95-110 when doing this with no ArcOK coming back. (starting to think its an internal issue with the plasma cutter unit itself)

It may be a faulty relay or connection in the machine itself or it may need some contact wetting.

I am thinking the machine also. would this be counted as contact wetting on the arkOK line in this diagram?

with only around 8hours cut time i wouldn't think i would have oxidization build up on this connection. i can only think bad relay internally.phillc54 wrote: That will give you around 24mA which would "probably" be adequate.
