Greetings everyone, I call for help on a new issue with my plasma table. So basically when I go to press home all the homing sequence begins. The z axis homes successfully 90% of the time, the x axis homes successfully half the time, and the y axis gantry does not successfully home. I get these errors with the x and y axis.

Sounds like either an electrical noise issue or maybe contact bounce.
What type of switches are used and what are they connected to?

Just checking you know, home switches need to stay triggered to end of travel.
Also be sure to add a home-offset to move off the home switch trigger

You might plot the switch hal signals with halscope when homing to get a better
idea of whats going on.
(it might be contact bounce or EMI)

Please try using a HOME_OFFSET of 0.1 inch. You want the axis to be off the home switch after homing. Not sure whether this should be positive or negative. If it fails, change the sign and try again...

I ordered new switches and replaced them and now the homing sequence is working and latching fully. Now homing works all the time with no errors and I did not change any settings in the configuration.
The old switches are at least two years old so it could have been contact bounce. Big thank you to everyone for your resourceful feedback and kind help.
