Sheetcam setting up path rules was created by n2fastcars75
Hi im trying to us sheetcam with qtplasmac and have been having pretty good luck with things other then holes. I wanting to setup path rules in sheetcam to turn off THC and slow feed when cutting out holes as well as on corner cutting. Is this something that can be done? What g code can i use to do this? I have seen on some posts about M8 and M9 being used. Is this correct? Any help would be great!

You can define code snippets in Sheetcam to achieve what you want for holes. User SeanP on the plasma spider forum had a quite a good methodology.
QTplasmac also has basic hole settings you could experiment with. Refer the QTplasmac docs.
For much more sophisticated hole processing, you could play with monokrom. It removes all hole cutting code and replaces it with its own based on a data base driven approach in terms of material thickness and hole radius. There is a video describing the algorithm on my MrRodW YouTube channel.
