Do you not need kinstype=BOTH to support the Y Y setup?
I have a XYYZ and this is my settings.

[DISPLAY]
GEOMETRY = xyz

[TRAJ]
COORDINATES = XYYZ

[KINS]
KINEMATICS = trivkins coordinates=XYYZ kinstype=BOTH
JOINTS = 4

Also, I looked at the docs, I don't see anything about the ! on the GEOMETRY line, not sure what that is. I did read the "-" sign preceding the axis letter, that inverts the sense of rotation.

have tried this:

COORDINATES = XYYZB

KINEMATICS = trivkins coordinates=XYYZBC kinstype=BOTH

works... but probe_basic shows me XYZA in the DRO
with COORDINATES = XYYZBC probe_basic shows me XYZAB in the DRO

This makes sense. Does that fix your issue with the G0 B0 bug?

You'll need to use a custom_probebasic.py file to relabel A to B and B to C.

Why is your tool changer a Axis if I might ask?

no that does not fix the bug..

toolchanger is C this time...

i would change them to W but first time i have tried the toolchanger as W the motor was verly slow...

yes for sure on my debian 11 with dev install i´ve done some changes....

but how can i do that on debian 12 with the normal apt install?
i´m searching for a way to make my cutom.py

does the carousel component utilize an axis setup in the ini? im uncertain and asking, maybe spumco can chime in, he is the resident carousel.comp guru for PB

i am using the normal atc files from probe_basic

hey andi, how are you doing this with the probe basic internal tool changer?

im trying to get a atc working over last few days too. we have managed to configure the entire machine and built and but we can't get the toolchanger to rotate and home properly although all sensors , outputs and stepgens are working well, but we have problems with the carousel component part.

can you please post your config files so it can help us find a solution?
