Hey peeps.
I have A couple of questions. I want to use my mill as a cnc lathe.
Can I have pb turn and mill on seperate profiles?
And can pb turn utilise 3 axis? I need the third to line up the work and to change tools which I will have in the vice.
The other option is using a custom post in fusion but im guessing thats way more complicated.
Thoughts?
Much appreciated

You can certainly do this with standard LinuxCNC, so I see no reason that it wouldn't work with PB.
You basically just switch the axis to joint names round. (and, in fact, in many cases you may not even need to do that)
For my horizontal mill I think I used my standard horizontal confic, where table in-out is Z and left-right is X (and I just jogged Y to set tool height)

can't imagine why not. is this a traditional xyz mill? I have not done this in PB before, but you may be able to simply go into the custom_config.yml and expand the mills tool table columns to include the X and Y offsets and use those for setting up your lathe tools to align them with the work centerline. I can confirm when using stationary offset mounted touch probes this works great. I think if you are just looking to do simple turning (actual turning in X and Z axis only like a traditional lathe) that this would work in that manner.
you may need to adjust the turning post to call tools as a mill post would in order to utilize those X and Y offsets.
