While QTDragon is running, open a terminal and type See what is using a lot of resources and check the system load.

It’s not a system wide issue, it’s specific to the qtvcp thread when running linuxcnc, all other UIs l(gmoccapy and probe_basic) perform fine and never had a timeout issue with them on the same machine.
