Why is linux cnc linked with a bird that can not fly and has eyes that are not responding correctly?

The eyes are drawn that way because the artist who drew it thought it looked cute that way. The penguins are just a Linux thing.
Personally I like this one (and the one at the top of the forum) better.

Indeed. The BIG problem with original is that we only has tiny image, with original vector seemly lost. Original post and later modified by me is best one I think imho.

I just does not think super cutesy is best for machining. Especially no safety goggles one!
