If you are seeing it send the torch start signal, but your procut is not responding, then it could be that you actually need a greater "Retry Delay" between trying torch-on commands for the procut to settle down. Also, 3 times is the default number of tries before it errors out and gives up. (sorry of you're already aware of that info)

Also check you have good connections on the ground clamp on the plasma cutter to the material. The number of times this has caught me out is bloody annoying.. Last week I bolted the ground cable direct to the table AND added a cable for material clamp so hopefully If I forget the table will do it for me.

I keep meaning to do that as well, but I also keep forgetting.

One can't rush into these things. I've had the parts for two years while I was preparing for the project!.

Yeah I have the permanent ground connected. The machine is actually running great now.
