It would not run natively. you would need the Source and build a RPI version.
The biggest issue is PP runs with a real time kernel and I do not think a RT Kernel is available for RPI. But I've not tracked it and do see a RPI forum here where you could get help there for the RPI part

That said.if you're not going to use any of PP modules. you copy everything but those. edit your hal files to remove them. edit to some python and you might get a working version. NOTE: this is not tested. just a thought

There are certainly real time kernels for the RPI
LinuxCNC has been runnning on RPI3 and RPI4
for a few years already

Not sure how much of a challenge it would be to get the
PathPilot build/run environment put together on a RPI
though...

Thank you for your replies.

I am not so worried about the Real time or Linux kernel for the RPI and installing LinucCNC.
I am more worried about the PathPilot portion and if any of it is compiled for x86 and would not run on the RPI.
If not x86 specific you should be able to find and move the PathPilot files to the new machine.
Or is the source available to recompile PathPilot?

The problem may actually be the open gl / mesa support.
Rpi4 dose not have full open gl support.

Thank you for your reply.

I have purchased  mesa 7c80 for this project. From going thru the threads it looks like most of the mesa hardware can be made to work. If not what would be recommended mesa hardware?

Aaroncnc was not refering to Mesa boards, he was refering to this:

That's correct sorry for the confusion.
I have had some troubles getting some control panels to run.
Some won't run at all other have non working screen elements.
It depends on what elements they used and how they are programmed.
I have thought about ordering a copy of pp to see if I could get it to run but have not had the time.
I got fed up enough the go deep into the axis gui and chage it to a dark theme and added more options widgets.
